What is it?

Alumni Delegates is the student organization of Mississippi State’s Alumni Association dedicated to bridging the gap between students and alumni through events and programs. The organization is historic and prestigious, as its mission is to foster student leadership into alumni leadership. Members are diverse in backgrounds and interests but all are high-achieving, dedicated young adults united by a deep love of their university.

My time serving as the President of Alumni Delegates allowed me to hone my skills in teamwork, organization, timeliness, collaboration, and event planning. Working alongside my three executive committee members and the Alumni Delegates advisor, we directed approximately 50 members throughout the calendar year and collaborated with numerous organizations in the Starkville area and on the MSU campus.

What is it?
What started as a Christmas gift in 2023 turned into a small business operating out of my dorm room. MMB Buttons is a custom pin-back button design and production small business. I do every step of the process: marketing, design, popup shops, product production, administrative duties, and more.

MSU College of Education Social Media Internship

I served as the 2024 Social Media Intern for Mississippi State’s College of Education. Due to my mentor’s collaborative spirit, we conducted research, redirected the College of Education socials, created a new Facebook page, collaborated with departments and organizations across campus, produced news releases, and created multimedia content for the website and social media pages. This experience was invaluable in honing my soft and hard skills, specifically in consistency and planning.

Chawla Pointe LLC. Summer 2024 Event Internship

An 8 week internship at the Lyric Hotel in Cleveland, MS dedicated to hosting and planning events of all sizes. Hands-on experience with several events including, but not limited to, weddings, conferences, and family reunions.
